General Instructions

  • These instructions assume that strips are cut selvage to selvage. It may be possible to reduce or eliminate seams by cutting using the length of the fabric.
Total Fabric Requirements Barn Red: 2 1/4 YD
Red Bamboo: 2 1/4 YD
Backing Fabric: 5 YD
Binding Fabric: 5/8 YD
Quilt Blocks Total Number of Blocks: 35
Construct 35 (12 IN) 4 Patch - 2 Color-Red blocks.
Block Pattern

Quilt Block Assembly
  • Layout blocks according to the quilt diagram.
  • Sew blocks into rows.
  • For on-point quilts, use diagonal rows.
  • Sew rows together to form the quilt top.

Backing

Approximate fabric requirements for backing: 5 YD.

Construct 2 strips the width of the fabric and length at least 90.5. Sew strips together to form vertical seams in the backing.


Binding

Fabric required: 5/8 YD. Cut 8 strips of width 2.5 IN.
